  • I do like this casino. I have stayed here many times. In fact I have stayed in this hotel more than any other in Las Vegas. This trip I stayed at the Bellagio. But even when I stay at other hotels in Vegas, I always come to the Orleans. For some reason and I'm sorry Orleans, I seem to never lose here at the blackjack tables. This trip was no exception. My wife and I gambled here on two separate occasions. The first time in 10 minutes I won over $100. Would of stayed longer but we came for just a few minutes so I could show my wife where I used to stay the during most on my travels to Vegas. We planned on coming back a couple days later which we did and this time she did roulette and I played blackjack for several hours and came out ahead again. Not sure why I seemed to always have good luck at this particular casino but it's a lucky fact and anytime I ever come to Vegas I will spend time at the Orleans. Here is something else, we didn't plan on gambling the first visit it was just to show her the casino. So, we stopped at the bar, she ordered a double shot of Jonnie Walker Black and I a Budweiser. And was shocked when I was told how much $11 WHAT? That's super cheap. You can hardly get a single shit mixed stick where I live let alone a double shot and a beer. Wow how nice is that? Just so you know for double shit drinks the second shit is only $2 so it's worth it to take the double. Also free drinks at gaming tables like most Vegas casinos. (Unlike the MGM National Harbor where you pay for drinks at tables and a single mixed drink with one shot is $3 more then we paid for 2 drinks here.) This location has many restaurants, a Starbucks, a bowling alley and movies theaters. Nice. My wife got hungry while gambling and came to the Blackjack table I was at and since I was on a winning streak I couldn't leave So she went to TGI Friday's on site and got some wings, which I had later and they were very good wings, just the right amount of spice and were meaty. Ok the casino has an nice New Orleans feel and is clean and spacious. Plenty of lower minimum tables i.e. $5 tables as well as higher limit ones. Plenty of servers for the tables. Dealers are well trained and fun. If you want to get away from the craziness of the strip, relax and have some fun at the tables this is the place to go.
