| - UPDATE: After finally speaking with a manager (Chuck), I will revise my 1 star to a 3. He has since made a tremendous effort to fix the mistakes that had been made previously. I appreciate the time he took to set things right.
I bought the brand new Touring 2016 CX-9 Madza on May 8, 2017, love the car. Its everything I wanted. But the sales person (Hector) failed to let me know it didn't come with the navigation system (partially my fault for assuming the Touring came w/ it) and that if I wanted it I would need to add it. I actually ended up buying it at a different dealership instead of adding it to the original loan. Hector also failed to tell me that in Nevada the dealership does not include registration (We just moved here from out of state). I should have been informed that I could have included it in the loan, but now I have to come up with it. That's basically almost $1000 ($300+ navigation & $600+ registration) out of pocket cost that could have easily been included in the loan.
June 9th 2017. I still did NOT have my EDRS to register my car.
I had tried calling and leaving messages with my phone number for someone to call me back for the last 3 weeks. I FINALLY had to say that I would be coming into the dealership with my husband and it wouldn't be pretty, to be connected with my actual finance manager (Steven). So here's the kicker, he told me that he had a WRONG phone number. And that they had been TRYING to get ahold of me because the bank wouldn't FUND my loan until they said "Hello" to me. (Is that SERIOUSLY a thing?) I asked them why they didn't call my husband's phone or email me as I had received things from them via email. I even had him repeat my husband's phone number, which was "correct". I had also left my phone number w/ many different people and answering machines for the past 3 weeks. So how is it that he's been TRYING to get a hold of me for 3weeks?
His response? "Uh ..."
So he did send me a new temporary plate on June 9th 2017, since the old temporary one EXPIRED. (Yeah, I was driving around on expired plates.) He said, and I quote .. "You wont get penalized with a late fee this way." As for my EDRS, he swore that he'd have it to me by Monday.
Monday .. no EDRS. Tuesday .. I call again. I get the run-around again. So I tell them again, I'm coming down to the dealership if I don't speak with a manager right then. I end up speaking with a female manager, I forgot her name. Began with R .. Reas, Ria? She finally sent me my EDRS. I also emailed Steven, he sent me the EDRS on Wednesday (June 14th) not Monday.
After finally receiving my EDRS I called my lienholder to find out about my payment, why they needed to say "hello" before finding my loan and why I hadn't received anything. They kindly informed me .. that what Steven told me was complete BS. They haven't sent me anything because they never received anything UNTIL June 12th. That's 5 days AFTER my temporary license plate expired.
You have some serious problems in your dealership. From the moment I bought the car, I've had nothing but issues. I bought a brand new car from you and this is how you treat your customers? I will NOT be coming back and will not be servicing my new car here either.
Oh and ..
I STILL got hit with a LATE REGISTRATION FEE. $60
