| - This review is for Polished 3 on Sunset Blvd. it is one of the franchises that just opened up from the original Polished on Rainbow Blvd. All I can say is my experience there was a nightmare from beginning to almost the end. I called for an appointment, specified that I wanted gel removal, nail design and pedicure. Well I arrived at 11:00 am, I was barely acknowledged upon my arrival. After 15 minutes I was finally called to sit down with a nail tach. The nail tech was very inexperienced. She had to ask another tech how to file my nail to get a square look. She was very nice, she just was very slow and didn't know how to file or do any kind of nail design whatsoever. Now, if you know anything about Polished you know they are known for their ability to design nails. I was so thirsty as I was sitting in the chair for so long, I had to ask for water, which again. Is something you shouldn't have to do if you know the original Polished reputation. After 2 hours I was finally asked to wash my hands. Well, there were no clean brushes in the jar. I then sat back down and had to listen to the receptionist proceed to argue with another tech about her telling the owner something about towels and that next time to come to her. At that point I was like this is so unprofessional and as a courtesy, I decided to call the Original Polished shop to voice my concern because, I was sure they wouldn't want to have this kind of behavior affecting their reputation.. The owner showed up at the shop, spoke to the receptionist first then came to me and pretty much told me he already handled the situation and if I would consider writing a positive Review. Not would I not consider writing a negative review! REALLY!!!!!! it was at that point that I thought wow, maybe I've given the owners too much credit. Maybe they don't value their customers like I thought they did...so anyways after all that I was there for a total of 5 hours, yes, you read it right 5 HOURS!!!! The only positive experience I had there was when a tech named Leemah took over at the very end and did my nail design and refused to charge me because she felt bad that I had been there so long. In my opinion the receptionist was unprofessional and should have never put me with that nail tech. She knew she wasn't experienced enough to work on my nail request. This experience was such a disappointment. Just like a designer bag, just because it has a name, doesn't mean it isn't a knock off!!! This place was a joke!
