  • Great service! I truly appreciate it when I find a place that actually cares about quality of service and products. To be honest it has become so hard to find even one of those traits in both large and small businesses, you can just forget about finding both.........not here though. You can tell the owner really loves music and has a natural tendency for teaching it too. He seemed honest and straight forward, again qualities I appreciate. I have to admit he's also a good salesman, but not the kind you typically think of. He didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need and his prices seem to be very reasonable (and if they're not he sure did make me feel like they were). Like I said we went in to replace 1 guitar string and left with 6 brand new quality strings, a new nut, he tuned the guitar, cleaned and oiled it and added a part for her shoulder strap so she can play it freely without it being in her way. All of this was only $42 out the door. Over the weekend I had called around for pricing and most places wanted a $50 service charge just for replacing 1 string and tuning it in addition to the cost of the string which was $10 and up. I would definitely prefer to pay a little more for quality and have something that lasts than I would pay less and have to keep replacing it especially when it comes to musical instruments, but I'm also a single parent of 2 children and their sole provider. So, price is a variable but not the only thing that matters. I have the feeling based off of his interactions with my daughter that he is a great music teacher. I didn't want to bring up lessons in front of my daughter because I'm not sure if they're affordable, but I plan on calling tomorrow to see. Even if they're not, he's landed himself another loyal customer! TIP: I found him here on Yelp, he's a mile from our house and his store hours are listed as closing at 7pm. We got there at 5:50pm, thankfully because he actually closes at 6pm per his door sign. However, he did say that it's best to call when heading there in the evenings because on some days he closes early and some he closes late depending on his students.
