I was introduced to the Icon by my roommate, and we love to go to this downtown spot, until they stopped having tapas happy hour a while back. The tapas have been a highlight of our visit. Due to their small sizes you get to sample a variety of different food even though it was only two of us.
I like their empadanas (crispy puffs!!), stuffed mushrooms, fries and desserts! Plenty to try and they also have a full menu in addition to the tapas which you can order from, in which both hot and cold dishes are served.
We have always had good service on our visits, and the ambience is great. Located just opposite the overture center, it is a good place to go for a snack before an evening show or pop by for some drinks after. It's dimly lit but you could still see what is in front of you. However, their pricing is not exactly cheap, especially now that tapas happy hour are no longer being offered. I wish they would bring that back since it's been a while now.
