This place reminded me of the mom and pop shops that are on every street corner in LA. Boasting a large diverse menu of greasy diner food, as well as Mexican fare, this place was sure to satisfy my needs. Unfortunately this was not the case. Womp, womp.
To start, the interior is grungy. The tables are almost always dirty as well as the floor. The workers were not very friendly and they are stingy with the drinks. I hate when soda fountains are behind the counter. My boyfriend drinks A LOT of liquid, and everytime he needed a refill we argued about who was going up there to ask for another.
The quality of the food was meh. I had a pastrami and it was soo stringy. Bf had the chili cheese fries that were mediocre at best. The chili is def. from a can, and the shredded cheese they put on top was not even melted. At least TRY and put out a presentable dish. One time I had their carne asada burrito and it was sooooo delicious, I told my bf it was the best burrito I ever had. Well that was a one time thing because the next time I had it I nearly spit the meat out. I can't see this place staying open for very much longer.
