I went to the Paul Mitchell School in DE with my mom all the time when I was younger and always had fun & loved what they did to my hair so I was happy to find one so close when I moved to Charlotte.
I had a phase 1 student (I did not make any requests when I called). I felt like I was the first person this girl had ever had as a client. She was awkward and unsure, but multiple teachers gave her confidence and instruction while working with me. I only wish her instructor had stayed with her a little longer at one point. I totally understand that they are supervising multiple people, but she just seemed so new. The instructor was gone for a little while and I could tell the woman doing my hair was looking for her and was slowly cutting my hair waiting for her to come back. When she did come back the instructor remarked that she had done what she told her not to do, resulting in my hair being shorter than I had wanted it to be in the back(which I stressed during my consultation because my hair is very thick). The instructor fixed up the back and helped her through the rest of my cut.
I'm giving them four stars because my hair still turned out great. Yes it was shorter in the back than I wanted it but I honestly got so many compliments on it. Starting from the moment I was done, people waiting to get their hair done and even people coming into my work later that day who hadn't seen me before to even know I had gotten my hair cut complimented my hair. Also, they got me in so soon which I love because I'm the type of person that waits until they are sick of their hair to get it cut. & the groupon is awesome for recent graduates living in a new city (& just people in general) :) Will definitely be going back!
