  • I called Mr Rooter on a Sunday at 1:00pm due to some smelly water backing up in the tub. The dispatch was very nice and there was someone here in about one hour. They sent Jose A who listened to me and began to try and fix the issue. Once it became apparent that the back flow valve was broken, and that they would have to dig up part of the front yard in order to fix the problem, he got on it right away. It was a Sunday night and he didn't leave until he had the temporary pipe in and everything was operational (it was 9:30pm by the time he left!). The job finished the very next day (minus the city inspector who didn't come till mid-day Monday, so the actual hole didn't get filled in until Tuesday), which was quicker than originally thought. Yes this was a big job that cost me a LOT of money but Jose was always kind, kept me informed of everything that was going on and did a great job. He even made sure to save my grass AND a bush he had to dig up. Also, because of how everything was placed, all the sewer pipes, irrigations pipes and water pipes were about two finger widths apart and he accidentally hit the irrigation and water pipe. He fixed them RIGHT away, and told me right away he did it; then showed the the placement of the pipes. He was professional and courteous. This was a cruddy situation but Mr Rooter and Jose did great.
