This review is from a few years back, but I will never forget about this experience. My wife and I went in to look at an Explorer and right up front I told them the amount of money I wanted to spend so that we didn't waste each others time. We allowed them to try to make a deal and they took the keys to my trade in to appraise it, after going back and forth and back and forth I finally told them that we would not be interested in any of the deals they offered to make. When I asked for my keys they refused to give them back unless we made a deal. Several times I asked for my keys so that i could leave and they kept refusing saying that we need to make a deal until fianaly the finance guy came out yelling at me that I will not get the deal that I want and that I needed to take the deal that they offered, I asked for my keys one more time and when they hessitated I started to go after the finance guy with physical force at the same time my wife was starting to call 911 when suddenly the sales man threw my keys at me. It was the most unsettling and bazaar experience I have ever had at a dealership. Since then I have NEVER allowed any dealership to have my keys.
For those asking why they had my keys, was so they could evaluate my trade in ... but trust me, after this fiasco I do not give my keys out anymore
