| - It takes a lot for me to write a bad review as I am always supporting local small businesses. But after speaking with other microblading technicians and students that attended Melissa's class, I felt like I had to for future students.
I gave Melissa 1 star because her class was organized, but there where a few things that I felt we should have learned during this class for the amount of money we paid. Before paying my deposit, Melissa was very responsive and promised her students that she will be there to help guide them even after they have received their certificate. I am not the only student who went through this, but after taking her class if I had a question, I either didn't hear back from her or it took days for her to get back to me. When I spoke to her about this concern, she stated "I am very busy running my business and I will get back to you at a time that's convenient for me". Her tone was uncalled for and she also stated other things that I will not mention that were very rude.
I told her that I spent a lot of money for this class and I shouldn't feel uncomfortable asking you a question. She then responded saying, " you spent money for a 2 day training course, I have the option to not help you after, but I am. I will respond back to you during my own time." Well you could at least respond back saying, I apologize that I am unable to respond as of now, I did receive your message and will respond to you once I am able to do so. Melissa then said " I don't have to apologize for anything." Again, I spoke with another student who took her training class with me and she hasn't responded back to any of her messages.
