Just stopped in for the first time. I ordered a large coffee. The zero personality girl behind the counter, who I assume to be some sort of manager, condescendingly said they only offer the "standard size" of 12 oz. I said well it's funny that every other coffee place in America seems to offer a larger size. Apparently she just moved from LA and a single option of 12 oz. is how it's done out there so I must be seriously mistaken. I attempted to joke and lighten the mood several times saying I need a heavy dose of caffeine this morning, but she kept saying, "I'm just explaining the standard size for a coffee drink." At not one point did she ever crack a smile while maintaining the interpersonal skills of a robo-call. To top it all off, the coffee was mediocre at best. I typically shop at smaller, higher-end coffee shops, both in Charlotte and while traveling, so I know both good coffee and those shops' offerings. If you want to offer one size, fine. If you can't be pleasant and your coffee tastes like Starbucks, fail.
