  • Similar to other customer reviews - my experience with these guys was expensive and troubling. I was also dropped off because of a aaa tow. My Chevy Tahoe had a blowout on the highway. The tow driver told me I could get a aaa discount and these guys would do a good job. The reality is, they charged me $850 for 4 tires - which included a balance and an alignment. Now looking at my receipt and talking with other tire stores I realized the price should not be more than 600 and good year is offering an $80 rebate on the tire they sold me. OK my bad for not reading google reviews first, and for not calling around before telling them to put the 4 tires on, of course they never gave me an estimate or a quote. They just called to say it was ready. I was working so my wife went to pay the bill so we could pick the car up after hours. That night we went to pick it up, and all we did was drive it home and a short distance. When reviewing the receipt we noticed they put the wrong size tire on the vehicle. The receipt said they put a 225/70 tire on. When we took the car back they said it was a mistake on the receipt and the actual size is 255/70. Well 255/70 is not the correct size for the car either. I asked them about it, and the guy tells me that is the size I had on prior and it's their policy to put the same size on - regardless of what is the manufacturer recommended size. He does tell me that I can change them out, but Ill have to pay more. I asked him for a quote and he said he would have to get back to me with a quote. A couple of hours later he called back to say they would not take the wrong size tires back, that I was stuck with them. I guess it was my fault for not knowing the size tires I had on the car previously. I'm not sure that's true - since I never saw the tires that came off the vehicle, even though the shop tells me that's what I had on. The end of the day - I got over charged for tires that are not the proper size and the shop wants nothing to do with fixing the problem. I hope other customers read this review and consider their choices carefully before they go to this shop. I know I will never go there again. Oh yeh, I have another tahoe - a 2001 vs the 2002 they serviced, and it needs tires - I know I wont be going to American Auto and Tire.
