  • Cory from customer service contacted me and asked me to give this midwood location another try. This is a follow up to my prior review... Went in for lunch on a weekday and sat at the bar again. Was greeted and served immediately. Order was taken and food arrived promptly. My wife ordered a pork sandwich and I had the pork plate. The pork was great. This time the fries came out hot but still not as crisp as I like them. They were good just a little too limp for my taste. Cole slaw was good. Hush puppies were great. And I loved the pickled onions. Two complaints: 1) the music is too loud for lunch time. 2) again, why no self serve sauces? But those are minor complaints. Overall great food and a much better experience than my last time here.
