  • I bought the groupon and had no problem redeeming it. The kid that works the front desk is friendly and competent; I have never met the grumpy man that is described in reviews from 2013, so I'm thinking he may not work here anymore. When I first started coming here I was planning on giving it a two-star review. Having practiced Bikram yoga for years, I became accustomed to the regimented stillness and order of a Bikram class. The classes here really emphasize a "do what you want" / "move at your own pace" attitude, which I found distracting / confusing (I found it hard to hold a balance posture while the person next to me was flowing through something else). The first several classes I went to, it seemed like there were a lot of housewives who just dropped off the kids at school (based on my eavesdropping) and came to yoga to socialize, rather than to find stillness or balance. That being said, after a couple of weeks of coming to several different types of classes and experimenting with different instructors, I've come to love the individualism they promote. Each instructor has their own style - even down to preferring students to be facing different directions - and you just have to find the instructor and class that jives best with your personal style. I like the variety this offers so I can do something different every day. The after-work crowd seems to be a little less chatty than people who go during the day. I have been to the first class of the day a few times now, and every time the instructor has shown up either right at the time the class is supposed to start or late. Almost every class I have come to has let out late, which is fine, as long as you know that in advance and don't have anything scheduled for after. I wish they had earlier classes in the morning so I could go before work (although if the instructors have a hard time showing up at 9 AM, I doubt they could possibly make it there earlier). I also wish they had more classes on the weekend. I know in this town many people do not work 8-5 jobs, but for those of us who do, having more available class options would be great.
