It was a decent-sized club with several "rooms" that had different atmospheres. The outside patio area has a nice view, but too bad the outer edge was completely taken up by the VIP booths so you can't really see over the edge. The patio was wall-to-wall people, and by people I mean douche bags trying to make a play on any girl that walks by. The inside main dance floor was crowded too, but not too bad. The really bad part was the DJ they had. He kept on mashing up classic rock songs w/ his off-beat techno shit, but he couldn't keep the same tempo long enough for anyone to dance to. So the only people who did dance were the completely trashed chicks/dudes who had no rhythm at all and who were happy just jumping and grinding on someone.
What saved the night was the Pussycat Dolls Lounge. They really put on a good show and the lounge itself was surprisingly empty (probably because they charge extra for entrance). But you could actually dance with someone without knocking over some drunk chick. Or even talk with someone in between sets...imagine that! Talking in a club. If it wasn't for the lounge, Pure would've been a complete let down after all the hype about it. If you want to check out a decent club scene, I would recommend The Palms.
