  • I drove home wondering whether I had been overcharged or my Ace donuts were just ridiculously overpriced. Despite the generally high ratings, there is some truth to the 1-2 star reviews. Beware the posted prices after you pick your donuts because the total cost could end up being twice what you expected! I only bought 4 basic, glazed donuts and a dozen cronut holes, and I was charged $12! I could barely understand the Asian lady's thick accent so I didn't ask how she came up with that number. I paid the amount and left with a confused look on my face trying to figure out how much they're really charging for their donuts. The glazed donuts should only have cost about $1 each (that's the price I saw on the sign inside) which means I paid $7 for 12 small, 'special' cronut holes (not including tax)?? I'm giving 2 stars because the donuts tasted good, but I won't be coming back because of the poor value for your money and questionable pricing. :/
