  • This Gelato stand is listed under the Palazzo but was actually on the Venetian side. I had just tried Gelato the night before at Jean Philipe Patisserie at the Bellagio and loved it. The color seemed a bit off here. Frankly the containers seemed to be filled with Italian favored ice rather than Gelato. I tried a taste of a few fruit flavors. If memory serves me they were Cantelope, Grapefruit and Lemon. Although cheaper than the Bellagio I was immediately turned off by the grainy texture. Gelato is supposed to be smooth. The longer it's stirred, the smoother the texture. This didn't even taste like Gelato. I guess that's why I never saw a line. Oh well. Next!
