  • Horrible Old Hotel. The carpets in the hallways are stained and smelly. After two attempts with a non functional key the Superior Room they gave me smelled of urine. It was one of those situations in which I was so exhausted that I just slept and tried to deal with it in the morning. $209.00 for a "Non Smoking Superior Room" with no heat and the smell of stale cigarettes. There was brown stuff sticking to the wall and holes in the walls. Even the coffee maker was dirty. I tried to talk to the manager but he "just left." These photos were taken last night. Avoid at all costs. The staff is nice and try to do the best they can. Complements to the manager who put me on a far better floor and deducted the charge for the horrible first night. I'm leaving the review up because if you stay there, check the room out first. The hotel is located near lots of fun things to do and the metro is half a block away.
