  • If I could give this store ZERO stars I would. I am beyond livid with my experiences I have had here. To start with the most recent one I went to Lowes to purchase a washer and dryer. First of all, when I got to the appliance department there were no employees to be found. We had to ring the bell and patiently wait for someone to come help us. After waiting for what seemed to be forever we decided to go look for one ourselves. The employee was nice but gave us the wrong information for the Lowes credit card promotion. We took the information home and discussed which washer and dryer we were going to purchase. We went back to Lowes the following day and purchased the Samsung washer/dryer. We were told the dryer and washer we wanted were not in stock so if we upgraded to the more expensive one they could have that one delivered the next day. We upgraded to the nicer dryer and sure enough I received a call for the dryer delivery time for the following day. However, the washer was a different story! We were told the washer would have to be ordered and would be in a week from the purchase day. It was no big deal because we knew our old washer was still running semi-ok. We figured if it broke down in a week it wouldn't be so bad. Well 1&1/2 weeks later still no washer. So I say ok let's call and find out what's going on. My first call to Lowes was on a Wednesday and they said there stock came in that day and I should receive a call for delivery later that night. When no call came in I decided to call the next day. A gentleman answered the phone and said he would look it up and double check it was in. So I waited while he looked it up on the computer but I could also hear he was in the middle of another transaction with a customer in the store. I heard their entire transaction and then he went back to my call said the washer was in and I would receive a call that night between 6-9pm. Well 10 pm rolls around and still no call. The next day which was Friday I call again. A man picks up the call and says he has to double check the back to see if it is really in. I said I was already told it was in but he was persistent on saying he wanted to go check. He said he would call me back in about 5-10 minutes to confirm if it is. So I waited and nothing. At this point I am extremely upset for how I have just been dragged around and given no helpful information that I decide to call the delivery department. Today I spoke to a Cassie or Cassandra and she tells me they are waiting on my washer and it is scheduled to arrive on the 23rd. I inform her that my washer is in and I called and confirmed that 3 times already. She puts me on hold and discussed with her manager on the hold up. She is told that it is indeed in but delivery is backed up and will not be able to have it delivered until the 23rd. At this point I ask to speak to a manager because I am extremely upset and frustrated with how much of a hassle this has been. Not to mention being told one week vs now it's going to be 3-4 weeks. The manager was nice and helpful he apologized and said he was taking it up to corporate and they would call me within 24 hrs to try and resolve this issue. Needless to say this is the second time I have had an extreme inconvince with lowes. I do not recommend anyone to go there except for minor purchases that you do not need to order. I will NOT be making any other big purchases from this store any longer. Now the waiting game begins for this call to come in from corporate. I hope everyone reads this review before going to Lowes to buy any type of appliance or big item. My bf refuses to go back to them after we purchased wooden blinds and is still in the process of dealing with the on-going issues we are having with that since June of 2016. Four months of issues is not worth it and I regret giving them a second chance!
