I really liked the food here and it was reasonably priced and not exactly ordinary. Pasta dishes made with care and small twists on recipes, and the pizzas are fired in a brick-lookin oven of some sort. I couldn't get enough of my caesar. I got the chicken dish of the day, and it was clever, saucy and delicate--I recall mushrooms and artichoke hearts, but it's been a few months so I don't recall what it was called.
Not the place to take a snooty date, as it's in a nondescript strip mall. But once you're inside it's almost charming, and the food is really good, I'd say. The owners/managers were super friendly, which is always a bonus.
