  • I frequently travel for business. I have been looking at various properties via Expedia and found this hotel on a good deal. After I booked the hotel I was very skeptical of how this place is gonna be? But thank God looks like the hotel pretty much served my purpose. There was a previous review of this location being a drug transaction place but looks like a lot has been changed in this property at least in my opinion. Exterior & Hotel premises: The Hotel location is in a busy intersection and it's just beside Bojangle's Fast food. If you are staying at this hotel you walk away from getting your food from Bojangles or wendy's nearby. While you make your entry to the lobby reception, you have this note saying that "all the rooms are non-smoking and if you smoke against all odds you will forfeit your deposit and other fines. I am a non-smoker and I prefer to stay in non-smoking rooms. So that was a good sign. Interior: The rooms are quite compact and the beds are comfortable and all thought the pillows are not that great but livable. All the amenities inside the room to me looks like everything got a recent upgrade. They have got shelves, a small table and chair for your work and window side cushioned seating while you can while away your time just watching outside. (But there is nothing scenic :-)). The bathrooms are pretty good and the vanities look like they have got an upgrade. One thing I forgot to mention was about the breakfast. It is ok. In the morning, you will have a selection of some corn flakes, bagels, yogurt, apples, milk, and coffee. To be frank I am not a big fan of it. But I guess for most people it would work. OVERALL PROS: 1. Great price for this hotel and your rooms are pretty comfortable and cozy for 1 person or a max 2 2. Good location and if you are part of their reward program then you can earn a free night OVERALL CONS: 1. When you use the elevator, you will hear a loud creek while closing the opening of the door. I found this annoying 2. Free breakfast feels like nothing. Just some cereals on a plastic bowl. 3. The bed sheets could have been replaced with newer ones. Mine had some holes in it.
