| - I'm going to give my honest review as a resident of Las Vegas.
I came here with a few coworker's to have our annual Christmas dinner on a Wednesday afternoon. We all live in Las Vegas, so it took us awhile to find parking to the hotel & casino, and then walk to the establishment.
We had reservations and we were quickly seated. We decided to sit inside, although they had heaters on the patios outside. We wanted to be warm.
Service 3/5:
I'm honestly not sure what our server said her name was because she spoke so quickly I really couldn't understand her. I did hear her ask what type of water we would prefer to drink, and there were several options; which was a nice touch! Service could have been better. She was friendly, but spoke way too fast.
Food 2/5
I was so disappointed. I ordered the King Salmon, and I'm not sure why I was expecting it to be king sized. I ate it in 4-5 bites. It was a super small portion but the presentation of the salmon was beautiful. I was going to order the chicken and waffles that my coworker ended up changing her order to, but I didn't. It looked way more filling than my salmon, and it also taste so much better than my food. I should have ordered the chicken and waffles.
We also ordered two alcoholic potion beverages. The first one was the Jungle Juice potion. It was very delicious, but of course it had low alcohol percentage. When we neared the bottom of our potion drink, we noticed a hair in our dry ice. We were all disgusted, but we work in the food and beverage industry so we know what it's like to have unruly customers. We told our waitress, and a manager came and quickly resolved the issue. Thank you! We also ordered the berry potion (I forgot the name).
Ambience 5/5
Hexx Kitchen was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The patio was also very beautiful, and every 15 minutes, we were able to watch the Bellagio's water show.
Overall 2/5
Unfortunately, I felt we could have spent less money on the same portion-sized food. It also took forever to find parking, walk through the hotel and casino, and find this place. It was an alright first time experience, but I more than likely won't be returning.
