  • This place was just a-ok for me. I did like the style of this place, it did look you were on a patio about to have a cup of tea and have a nice conversation with friends. The swing was adorable and the seating was meh.. but if you wanted to have a private conversation, it would be hard because the seating is so close to another group or another couple that you can hear their conversations. We ordered the thai tea cake, the grilled cheese sandwich, the hong kong waffle with coffee ice cream and the blue lavender tea. My husband liked his thai tea cake, it had a slight thai flavor. It wasn't overpowering and it wasn't too sweet for him. He isn't as big of a fan of sweets as I am. Ha. The grilled cheese with the fruits.. I wasn't a fan, but I also think it is because I don't have that acquired taste that some people might have for those types of desserts. I'm sure it would be good for some people, the cheese was gooey and the fruits were good. I just didn't like it for myself. I did like my regular hong kong waffle. It something I never had before so it was nice that I could try it here! I like the air pockets of goodness and the crunchy tops when you bite into a piece. The homemade coffee ice cream I think was the highlight of that dessert for me. It played very well with the waffle. The tea smelled like lavender but it tasted very earthy and when it went down your throat, it felt like it cleansed it. It was delicious tea. I do like the sweeter desserts, which is why this was a 3 star place for me. It would have been for the better seating and if the desserts tasted more sweet, again everyone's preference is different!
