  • If you can sum up Encore in one word, which would you choose? Baaaallin'!! My first impression of the place wasn't great because of all the different valet locations they had. I literally had to hit all 3 until I got to the right one. They had one for the casino, one for the suites, and one for regular rooms. If you go straight back, you'll hit the self-parking garage. We checked in Friday afternoon and were given many different options on rooms. We finally decided on a queen bed but at a higher level in the hotel. Everything was super high tech. From the controlled doorbell (instead of hanging up a do not disturb sign, just hit the privacy button and the do not disturb phrase will display by the doorbell), remote controlled lights and curtains, and the separate shower heads. Their beds were ultra comfortable. Double comforters?! It's like sleeping on clouds! Whenever my head touched the bed, I knocked out. One of the nights, I woke up at the foot of the bed. I think I fell asleep watching TV? Speaking of, their TV is awesome. You can turn it 360 degrees, so you can watch it in bed or on the couch in the living room. They have all the channels you'd ever need and they also had channels strictly for music. This was super convenient when we were getting ready to hit the clubs. I was totally feeling the red, black, and white colors used throughout the hotel. The red chandeliers hanging in the casino added an interesting touch. I noticed the casino didn't have the usual cigarette stench. It was really clean and the air wasn't stuffy. They have two different pools. The main pool was family-friendly, whereas the european pool (21+) was off to the side where XS is at (which is THE Vegas club right now). We stuck to the main pool since it had more chairs. Drinks were expensive, but darn good. Get the Miami Vice if you want to get a good buzz going. I'd recommend this hotel to couples or older people. Since it is at the end of the strip, it's not as popping as say Palazzo and Venetian. Their casino wasn't as busy as other casinos. All the celebrity sightings weren't bad too (Hugh Jackman, Usher, and David Spade). Encore is as good as it gets, everyone needs to experience this hotel at least once.
