  • My husband and I brought our two boys on our vegas getaway. Towards the end of our trip, they were looking a unkept and I decided to bring them to a local store for grooming and bathing. I found this place on Yelp and my husband called to inquire about pricing and appointment availability. We booked the date after confirming pricing. The groom and wash for both pups cost $105 (small and medium sized dogs). Check in offer used for $10 off for my transaction. We arrived at the store and saw that it was a cage free place. Yes, they had little confined areas for different dogs but no metal cages for containment was comforting. Be prepared to receive a lot of love from the dogs waiting to be picked up when you peep over the little fence area. They were all groomed and ready to go. Lilac was grooming another dog but came to greet us and see what look we were going for. I have always groomed by dogs myself and I am not a professional. She looked at both dogs and made a comment about my cockapoo asking what kind of cut is that. It was a little offensive even though I explained I designed the cut. She kept on saying the leg fur should be more blended in and should not stick out so fluffy. I told her that was the style I liked but she did not pay too much attention. I asked for them to be trimmed and cleaned up. No drastic change in hair do. It was said that I could pick them up at 5pm. I went to the store and was shooed out because lilac was still grooming my little guy, Cody and did not want him to get worked up. Okay, I get it but it was not very nice to shoo me out. I ended up picking them both up 30-40mins after the due time. She faded/blended my cockapoo's and they were no long puffy. I was a little sad at first but figured it would grow out. She did do a good job on my terrier poodle mix which gave his fur a more evened out appearance. At the end of the visit, she emphasized that she tried her best with what she had to work with. I told her they looked fine; acceptable. She continued to recommend biweekly visits that would only be $30 or $35 dollars (I forget the exact amount for maintenance). I informed her I did not live in the state and was only on vacation.
