This quaint little family owned traditional Chinese bakery is a hidden gem. In a sad decrepit strip mall, at least there is always parking. Ignore the ghetto nature of the area because this bakery offers the best traditional Chinese treats in Toronto. They have plenty of flaky pastries with lovely and adventurous fillings. A few notable things to get:
-egg tart: I love the flaky pastry and sweet custard filling. one of the best "dahn tats" around
-their wife cake and husband cake which are flaky round pastries with a slightly sweet filling are lovely. the pastry is flaky and crisp the way it should be
-chicken biscuits "gai jai beng" are a sweet and savory treat that brings back memories for me and are exactly how I imagine they should taste
