  • After deciding to get married in Las Vegas, my fiancĂ© and I thought we'd look into MGM. Angela was the wedding coordinator and was very quick to respond to emails. She was very nice and helpful. She could not help us with the reception because a lady named Beverly was in charge of that. Beverly had quick responses until a week in. She stopped responding to my emails. At first I thought she may be sick or on vacation so I gave her a couple weeks to respond. When I didn't hear back, I sent another. I waited a week or so then sent another. All I wanted to know was if we didn't know the final guest count until a 6-8 weeks before the wedding, how did I know how much to pay? Beverly told me that I would have to book and pay a year in advance. (I've never been married before so I thought this was a legitimate question). I finally emailed Angela back saying I still had questions for the reception part and wasn't getting my emails or calls returned. Angela said she would make sure Beverly got a hold of me...she did right after Angela sent me that email. The first sentence of Beverly's email said, "I'm sorry if I haven't returned your emails...blah blah" "IF" ?! It wasn't a matter of "if", she flat out did not answer any of my emails. Ended up finding a better venue somewhere else on the strip that included way more. Gave 2 stars only because Angela was very nice. Beverly, you suck.
