  • We were hoping for much more than we received. We went with another couple for brunch. It was everyone's first time eating there. The decor is beautiful, until you realize there are tvs all around you. Rather than being a nice, quiet restaurant, it was more of a sports bar atmosphere. The tvs are a distraction and do not belong is a restaurant this nice. The waitress came to take our order on a Sunday for brunch, wearing very short shorts. Now, it really seemed like a sports bar. We were expecting a much nicer atmosphere for some reason. Shortly after we ordered, the waitress came back to tell us that they were out of breakfast casserole, which both my husband and I ordered. We then re-ordered the Which Came First?. Our food was delivered by some random person, who basically plopped it on the table without saying a word. It was very rude! My friends ordered three entrees, one to share and their own. One of the entrees came out wrong. After telling the waitress that it was the wrong piece of chicken, she argued telling us that a chicken drumstick was chicken wing. What kind of waitress argues with the customers knowing it is their first time at the restaurant and secondly, it was a drumstick instead of a wing? Three of us had to say to her that it is not a wing so she would take it back and get a wing. So ridiculous! It was NOT surprising when she argued, because she kept forgetting everything we asked for. I ordered lemon with my water, and then had to as two more times before getting it. I also ordered a mimosa, only $3, and I think she forgot that for a while too. We asked for sauce when we realized the food was dry, and had to ask at least one more time before getting it. Oh, and the mimosa was mostly champagne, but that isn't really a compliant, just a comment. Our experience was not good to say the least. The only good thing was that another waitress or manager, not sure because she never said, came to our table to fill the water glasses and asked how everything was. So, she got an ear full. She eventually came back and gave us our checks that were 50% off. Honestly, that is the only thing that was good about our experience. We appreciated her effort very much. All in all, I believe the waitress caused our entire meal to go downhill. We will give it one more try for dinner, just because the chicken on the Which came first was actually good.
