  • Wish I could give no star! We purchased a counter height table and 6 chairs here in February 2017, paid $1600 for it. Not long after we had it, the dark finish started flaking away and exposing the bare wood in several spots all over the table. Called Ashley's in Gastonia and they told me since we've had it for less than a year they would send someone out to evaluate and possibly repair the damage...and said if it can't be repaired then the table would be replaced. They sent Johnny on the spot out and he said flaking was caused by humidity before the finish was put on at the factory and said it can't be repaired and that eventually the whole table finish will flake off. Johnny said Ashley's will contact me within 2 days...well a week later after leaving messages we finally called Ashley's again and got in touch with someone....who said they wouldn't replace the table and there's nothing they could do about it. I will NEVER purchase anything from here again. Horrible customer service! Not good quality furniture!
