  • I have been to The Casa several times and was not disappointed when I attended a meeting a few weeks ago. They are doing construction for a new worship center. The grounds invite peace and calm and are well maintained. They had a special exhibit on the Saint John's bible, which is very cool and artistic. The chapel is a nice space and I look forward to what the new worship center will look like. The rooms in the round building are a bit dated but well maintained and clean. I greatly appreciate The Casa's commitment to recycling and reducing waste. The meeting planner was friendly and helpful from the process of booking the meeting to the final settlement of the bill. They handled the special meal needs of some of the attendees perfectly. The Franciscan Renewal Center is a convenient respite and I hope to be back soon.
