| - I brought my car in for a simple front brake pad change. During the brake installation, the technician had to look up in a manual where the brake sensor in my car was. This did not instill me with confidence. After he completed changing my car's front brake pads, he encountered an issue with the car's computer. The car still had the "BRAKE" light illuminated in the dash, and the car kept telling me I needed a service to change the front brake pads. It was clear that Just Brakes lacked the ability to reset the computer system properly.
After a day or so of driving, the BRAKE light turned off. However, since the light turned off, it now does not turn on when I pull the e-brake up. Needless to say, I think the problem was caused by Just Brakes' lack of knowledge of my car's computer system, and lack of ability to properly reset it.
I brought my car back in so they could inspect it. Upon looking at it, they informed me that the BRAKE light not coming on was a "separate issue," and asked $95 to perform an inspection. This demand is ridiculous. My car had absolutely no issue with the BRAKE light before I brought it into Just Brakes. It is clear that throughout the entire process of changing the front brake pads, not completely solving the computer issue, and now taking a guess and demanding $95, Just Brakes has no idea what it is doing. I will never return to Just Brakes for anything.
