  • We stopped by the Hoover Dam Bypass to walk out on the bridge to check out the views. It's about a half hour drive to the south of Las Vegas. The views of the dam and lake were awesome but if you don't like heights, you probably don't want to go. The wind was quite breezy making it difficult to walk at times (really) and the bridge shook a bit as well. We walked out to the center and took photos. This attraction is free and so is the parking in the upper lot by the stairs to the bridge. We enjoyed it.
