  • Well I waited more than a month for a response from Brio's corporate before finally deciding to write this poor review. I really wanted to address this with Brio and not the rest of the world, but with no response whatsoever, here I go. I had brunch a month back, and ordered the eggs, home fries, and bacon. It says it comes with brioche toast on the menu. It does not. After addressing this with the waitress, the manager comes over. He stands there for a little while (very awkward) before finally asking what the issue was. Wasn't sure if he was waiting for me to say something first? Anyhow, he told me they don't have or have ever had brioche toast, and I asked him why the menu says they do? He says he doesn't print the menus and that corporate does. Wow!! I couldn't believe his answer! Maybe the correct answer should have been, "You know you're right, it must be a misprint, I should let corporate know." It's very deceptive to advertise brioche toast to people and then serve crappy white stale toast. I rarely bring up anything I am displeased with at a restaurant, but this was Brio's third strike with me. The last time it was a cold omelette that I didn't say anything about. I wanted to give Brio another chance since I have been going here since the opening, (and their eggplant shrimp appetizer is actually pretty amazing), but three strikes and you're out.
