  • Who would've thought some hole in the wall at the Pavilions would be serving such good espresso? Just goes to show not to judge a book by its cover! If you're looking for some trendy spot to meet with friends, or enjoy the ambiance, than this isn't your place. As I understand, they originally opened for storage of their coffee, and decided to add on a retail side. No, it may not be a place to sit and chat, but if you're looking for pretty damn good espresso drinks on the go, than this is a fantastic place. Reasonably priced, low-key, and non-pretentious. And the people are really friendly and will remember you. The espresso has a slightly smoky quality, and is really rich in flavor. Not too acidic nor bitter. I think the fact that they have a very nice machine helps too. It really is great espresso, and this is coming from someone who has been to all of the coffee shops in the Scottsdale area. So check this place out, and give these guys the business they deserve. You won't regret it!
