  • We went there for Mother's Day brunch and were very disappointed by the experience. On the whole, the service staff were very nice, but the atmosphere just wasn't there. There were a couple groups whose children were running around their table next to ours. When we discretely asked to be moved, the restaurant seated us outdoors even though I asked for inside seating and saw other open tables inside the restaurant. Sometimes, the food makes up for the ambiance. In this case, it did not. The bread used for the croque madame had a strange consistency to it (lumpy) and the quiche lorraine tasted a bit too custard-like. The Honduran coffee, lobster mac and cheese, and skirt steak and eggs were (just) okay, but I was aiming a bit higher than what Morel's achieved. It might have been an off-day for them, but I will not take my family back again, especially for a special occasion. There are just too many good restaurants in Las Vegas to settle for less.
