| - I wanted to take a client out for lunch for her b-day, and she chose Yupha's because she had eaten there before and liked it. She ordered an appetizer and an entree, I just ordered an entree. About half way through our meal, I managed to get the server's attention and asked about the never delivered appetizer. She went to check, and returned in a while, apologizing for the delay, saying it was her fault, not the cook's fault. As we finished our lunch, along came the appetizer. I think it was called Buddha's delight, not sure. Fried tofu puffs with a dipping sauce. We each ate just one because we were full. The b-day girl took the rest home. Then came the check, with no appetizer on the bill. I assumed we were comped the appetizer due to their mistake so I said nothing and put my money on the tray. She took it, then quickly returned, saying the bill was incorrect. Another bill, with the appetizer included, was on the little tray. I said nothing and put more money down. I will never go back there again. What tacky service! As for my lunch, it was just ok. I have had "drunken noodle" at other Thai restaurants in Tempe that was much better.
