  • Being from back east I grew up with Carvel. All I wanted for my birthday was a carvel cake. Ordered a deluxe round cake. Received the worst cake I have ever had. The icing tasted like it was spoiled. The cake I ordered didn't have colored icing to begin with. Instead of their delicious chocolate crunchies, it had the cheapest chocolate cookies you could find, crumbled up for the exterior and the inside. Oh the also sent an additional half filled cup of crumbled cheap cookies to go with the cake. I was so excited about this only to be very let down. No wonder the Carvels out here haven't lasted. I do not recommend.
