  • After much research, I took my friend to this show for her 50th birthday. I wanted a show that captured the feel of original Vegas shows, with the feathers, stilettos, gorgeous costumes and sets, singing, dancing, all of it. This show seemed to fit the bill, and wow did it deliver! There is even a live orchestra! You have to approach this show with the right mindset in order to give it the appreciation and kudos it deserves. It is NOT an impersonation of singers from yesteryear, nor does it claim to be, but rather a tribute. Yes they take on personas of famous acts such as The Rat Pack and Elvis, and even sincerely give effort to mimicking mannerisms and vocal type to said artists, but you are being unfair to the cast and the show if you don't realize the nuances are just that. These are seriously talented singers and dancers in their own right and they put on a h-e-l-l of a show. I don't know how they do it twice a night. It is very demanding vocally and physically and the entire cast was amazing! We took in the first show of the night and I felt we had a pretty dead audience unfortunately. I didn't feel the cast was getting the feedback they deserved via applause and laughter. Though I also think more than half the audience didn't understand what was going on because of language/cultural barriers. Still it was unfortunate. The side acts of the hula hoop performer, the juggler and the Village People spoof were all hilarious and had my friend and I in tears from laughing so hard. Their talent was also top notch, especially the juggler who did the impossible in front of my eyes. The only blip we encountered was that we were unable to pick up our picture which was included with our tickets at the end of the performance. The printer had stopped working and we were told we could come back the next day and pick it up. When we returned the next afternoon we were told it was still not printed and they were still having issues. I was told if I left my contact info someone would call me about possibly mailing it to me. Still waiting on that phone call. Overall, we loved this show! It excels in my opinion and I plan on seeing one of their other shows next time I'm in Vegas.
