  • I used Hope Street a couple of years ago to rent my house. It was an extremely stressful experience!! The service was TERRRIBLE! It is true that when you first contact them they are responsive but as soon as I signed the contract it was all downhill. -They never returned phone calls and most of the time when I called our property manager his voicemail was full so prospective tenants couldn't leave messages. -They rented our house to a couple with two huge dogs when they specificallty said they wouldn't and "forgot" to tell us that they had moved in early. We went over to gather to things we had used to stage the house to find it full of someone elses belongings and two large aggressive dogs. - The neighbours said the tenants were loud and rude and the police were called over often. Their dogs barked all the time and annoyed people throughout the neighbourhood. I really doubt they did referances. The tenants DESTROYED our backyard and fence and left permament stains in our carpets. -Hope Street put an expensive ad in the paper without telling us and charged us. I have nothing good to way about them.
