This was a good experience. I had an appointment with Kanako who is the stylist at the salon. She charges $60 for a cut. She is Japanese as is the owner who as director charges $10 more. They also have entry level stylists who charge $10 less.
I managed to obtain a same-say appointment with Kanako who was pleasant. I showed her a couple of photographs of what I had in mind and after a couple of questions she gave me the thinning and trim I want exactly. She is not one of those who takes matters into her own hands or cuts more than you want (we have all had those, right?).
I am happy with her work as she listens and the couple of suggestions she offered were not only fine, but also did not involve cutting my hair shorter than I want it.
The salon is spacious and clean and you can ask for a first-time discount.
Please note that they do not accept credit cards.
