Sav-a-Lot on Freedom Drive can be relatively inexpensive but it has lousy selection. If kool-aid, collard greens, weird pork products, and hamburger helper is your kind of thing, they've got plenty of that. Otherwise, Aldi, which is a similar type of store has much better selection in most areas. One area in which Sav-a-Lot is better than Aldi is that they have better produce and fresh meat. 44 cents for a green pepper out of season is a very good deal. other such deals exist. They also take credit cards, don't charge a deposit on shopping carts, and do give you bags for free which make it a bit more convenient than ALDI. Not the best cheapo grocery I've seen but not the worst either.
