| - Although a bit on the pricey side, the barbers at V's know what they're doing. Old School in every way imaginable, V's is a trip to the past, and how I imagine Barber Shops used to feel.
I stopped in to V's recently in need of a quick cut as my hair had grown out of control. While I didn't have an appointment, the team at V's was quick to get me sat and serviced, and was happy to take me as a walk-in.
A little over 5 minutes waiting, I was greeted by my barber, David, who took me over to the chair and began to work magic. David started by asking what I wanted to do with my hair. I only said a major clean-up, and no more was needed. I was draped with a cape, and the cut began. 10 minutes later my cut was complete, and was one of the best I've ever had. David then asked if I wanted to get a shave today, and having never gotten a straight edge razor shave before, I happily accepted. The shave was incredibly close, although because my skin is easily irritated, I ended up ordering the facial as well. All in, the complete package came to about $80 plus tip for the cut, shave, and facial, and also included numerous hot towels and a massage before heading home.
I will definitely return to this V's location again in the future, and will absolutely request David again.
