I've seen both Rachel and Dr. Wang. I've been a patient for three years now and see Rachel on a regular basis. She has worked with me to investigate and treat my conditions while trying to keep the financial burden as low as possible.
I have insurance, but with copays and deductibles, the cost of medical care can become outrageous. She takes this into consideration and it helps a lot.
Neurologists are not your primary care doctors and they won't sit with you for an hour to discuss what's going on. They will review and investigate reports as well as work with your other doctors to develop a treatment plan.
Every visit we review my medications, visits I've had with other doctors, tests, changes, etc. I feel like it's very thorough.
It has taken time to develop a treatment plan that works and every now and then it takes some tweaking, but you can never expect a doctor to give you instant results. I'm very satisfied.
