This review is not on the Best Buy store but the Geek Squad. We ordered a dishwasher to be delivered and installed. It showed up on Saturday as promised but was not installed. This is the note the installer left. Unable to to get old unit out even when the feet were all the way up it wouldn't clear the top. Showed the client (my wife) and explained she could force it out but the new one wouldn't fit. We have 33 7/8 inches of clearance and Samsung needs 34 1/4. Recommend them getting water valve replaced and cutting tile about 1/4 inch and start little by little. They wanted me to leave the new unit there and they will get us to install when they are ready.
I came home from a 12 hour day of work, removed the old dishwasher by raising the feet all the way up and it slid right out. Hooked up the hardware to new one, raised the feet all the way up and it slid right in. I just had to use a little muscle to close the valve to shut the water off. I have only installed one dishwasher before and this was a piece of cake. Then when I called for them to come and pick the old one up, it took 4 days and they showed up about 8pm at night. This is not the first time I've had a problem with this Geek Squad. The first time was a couple of months ago when getting a refrigerator. It seemed that they never talk to the store and always have the wrong information. When I received a call from someone at Geek Squad to address my complaint, I found that this guy was the biggest problem I had by not following up on his empty promises. So when you get ready to buy that extended warranty with your purchase as they claim it is outstanding warranty service, I personally have to question this by my experience.
