| - Impeccable. Exceeds expectations. A respite from the strip.
My kid sister and I hung out at the private Four Seasons pool--gated and separate from the Mandalay Bay pool. Beautiful people everywhere, frozen grapes, Evian spritzes, and cucumbers for our eyes... As I made my way to the elevator bank, the staff who called the elevator for me asked after some small banter, "Is there anything else I may do for you?" I hopped in the elevator, and asked, "Could you bring me some extra towels?" We said goodbye. The elevator whisked me up to my room, where I entered, and a mere 5 minutes later, the towels arrived... I suddenly had a realization: I didn't tell the staff which room I was in. Who expects that?... That was amazing!
The Four Season and its restaurant are an oasis compared to the crap they try to sell as great on the strip. Forget the Wynn and Bellagio. Unless you're a high roller with tons of cash to burn, who has an ability to get a comp'd room, don't waste your money on those hotels. At the Four Seasons, service, quality, and comfort are unimaginably perfect.
Sure, there's no casino, but I don't want that at my hotel. I want somewhere pin-drop quiet. I want somewhere that will accommodate my most demanding request. I want somewhere that exceeds my expectations... The Four Seasons is unmatched on the Las Vegas Strip--it is the best hotel there.
P.S. The L'Occitane products (verbena and aromachologie) are great. NO skimping at all--seriously.
