1st, lol! Love the new location. Plenty of room and nice patio out front.
I only made it to the old location a couple times and its been a while, so its hard for me to compare. This location seems larger and nicer. They have a huge chalkboard behind the bar that shows all the amazing restaurants and bars that feature their beers. Above all that they have the beers on tap written. I was a little disappointed that they only had 5 available, but 4 out of 5 were pretty hoppy which right up my alley. I guess I just assumed they had more year round beers, I just hadn't tried them yet.
Of course I ordered a higher ground. Its my go to. A smooth beer for 7%. My date went for the flight. She absolutely loved the jalapeno pale and ordered a pint after the flight. She didn't seem all that impressed with the brown or the others. I took a sample of the Say it to My Face red double IPA. It wasn't bad, but it just wasn't my thing. I was told they release a new seasonal every Thursday, I'll have to make it back for that.
Good beer, convenient location, and a chill crowd. There isn't much more you could ask for. I'd say this is more of 4.5 stars, but I'll round up because I love that we are getting so many great local beers. I'll have to re-visit some of the other breweries in town to make the final call if this truly a 5 star establishment.
