  • They used to be good. I leased Sonatas from Chapman Hyundai for six years, but when I went to re-up, they offered me a far worse deal on a lesser model. I naively started the paperwork (including a credit report), but then they couldn't get it together to complete the transaction. After waiting 2 1/2 hours I ran out of time and told them I'd be back in the morning. I did start out to go back the next day, but on the way I stopped at Earnhart Hyundai in Scottsdale. On the spot, Earnhart offered me a better deal on a better model. I took it. Chapman got even, though. They denied my credit application. Guess they require better than my 800.
