I took my 12 year old son here for a holiday activity on his Christmas break from school. There is lots of parking, it's easy to find, and upon entering we were greeted by a smiling young woman who did not offer a lot of salesmanship on what was available though I had already researched the company website to find what I was looking for concerning prices and times for skating.
The main reason for going here was that I wanted a large ice rink for my son, with skate aid and a good price and that's exactly what I got.
The skate rental and ice time is $10 and the skates were in good condition. The skate aid is a $5 rental fee and worth every penny for the beginning skater.
The rink was decorated for the "Winter Wonderland" theme to coordinate with Christmas and the music was all holiday themed.
There were 2 young adult attendants on the ice. I did read another post here on Yelp that mentioned the place was run by teenagers and I think that's fairly accurate - though- they weren't awful. Not necessarily helpful, but not bad, they just need more training from the management in sales and customer service. I would have bought a package of lessons that day had it been offered to me because my son enjoyed it so much.
We did not buy anything from the concessions stand though I noticed they offered a lot of choices and the prices were $5 and under.
Our experience was great. The ice started out beautiful and by the end of our 3 hours was chopped up and rough with need for a zamboni.
I would definitely go back again, I would buy lessons, and if you are a family looking for a fun sporty activity, this place was affordable and fun.
