  • When I moved to Corktown recently I was told by a friend that Aroma had the best coffee in the hood. I decided to give them a shot for my morning brew and I wasn't disappointed. I just stick with simple brewed coffee and Aroma's house blend is quite good. I've delved into their menu a little deeper and was surprised how many food options they have. This place serves up all-day breakfast, including lots of soups, sandwiches, and salads. It appears they can make all of their food veggie, vegan, and gluten-free if you'd like. I've tried the breakfast and tuna sandwiches on whole wheat and they're both tasty -- and the bread is really soft and fresh! The staff is also very nice and friendly. One downside is the prices are a little high: whole sandwiches are just over $10 which seems a little steep. Still, this is a great option for coffee, tea, and lunch snacks.
