| - I rarely come here, but I really need some protein, and knew this would be the place I could get a variety. I arrived at 3 PM thinking it wouldn't be too busy and everyone on their game. The Parkin lot was packed and no handicap parking available.
I started with the salad section, which had both romaine and iceberg that looked fresh. Several good items available, but I was not impressed with the dirty counters, that almost an hour later are still the same way. The lettuce was also all big pieces that you will have to wrestle to put in your mouth.
I went onto the warm veggies and it was very l, very clear which were the fresher ones and the older ones thrown on top. There is a definite difference between a brown brussel sprout and a nice bright green one. Brown collard greens and fresh ones. I choose some sort of chicken.
During the time I was eating my meal, a male employee kept complaining often when he came back to refill drinks for customers. Sounded like he had lots of issues to talk about, yet customers should have to hear it.
Seems like change in shift, and that could be why there is chaos. Voice boomed over loud speaker that pm employees meet in some room. Then a male employee complained how long the meeting seemed to be.
The ice tea I ordered is cloudy and really a waste, should have just had water.
My waitress Bree, did well in checking in with me and clearing away my plate and checking on me often.
She is a definite bright spot to this meal, and I hope the powers that be, notice.
I hope the dessert does not let me down.
The caramel with soft serve ice cream and Oreos was awesome.
So Bree and desert saved the day!
Wait! Bree cleaned the salad bar! Way to go. See, she made the visit!
